Writer and illustrator Marty Kelley lives in NH. His picture book, Twelve Terrible Things (Tricycle Press), received a starred review in School Library Journal and a glowing write-up in The New York Times by none other than Lemony Snickett. The illustrations are hilarious, and the fact that it's a rhyming story about farts just gives me the giggles every time. A new favorite!
Every kid that has been introduced to this book has loved it! And I don't mind reading it multiple times in one sitting so all-around winner!
This book has turned into my 4 year old sons favorite book to read at nice. Great size and amazing pics.
My 5 and 3 year olds love this book, and I don’t mind reading it every night because I love laughing with them. This book has cute illustrations and is such a fun read! Oh and also a plus around here is that it is a short read too - because when it’s past bed time and we still have to read a story, let’s keep it under 5 minutes!
Cute book. It has become one of my 7 year old's favorite books. Be prepared to laugh. The illustrations are just as great. A definite hit at our house.
